Reports have it that 90% of people can acquire transient insomnia at some point in their lives. While an estimate of 30% suffers from its chronic form. Which groups of us are more prone to insomnia?

Women

Women are said to be more at risk in acquiring insomnia because of the following reasons:

Elderly

Elderly people are also prone to getting insomnia because of altered sleeping patterns.

Depressed

Depressed people have lighter slumber compared to those who don’t have this psychological condition.

Students

Students or younger ones who are overly conscious of their grades, and cram for exams, can easily become insomniacs too.
